GM Issues 5 More Recalls

GM issued five more recalls covering nearly 270,000 vehicles. The issues with the recalls range from key and ignition problems to seat belt glitches. Most of the vehicles affected are sedans or crossover vehicles.

Over 202,000 Saturn Vues have been recalled for keys not coming out of the ignition when the ignition is in the off position. The models years for the Saturn Vues recalled are from 2002-2004. GM dealers will inspect the vehicle to see if it has any issues and will replace the cylinder and key set if it does.

Over 48,000 2013 Cadillac ATS Sedans and 2013 Buick Encore crossovers have been issued a recall. The potential problem with these vehicles is a seat belt issues. The lap belt cables that can fail to lock into place properly, which can cause increased occupant movement should a wreck occur.

Nearly 15,000 2014-2015 Chevy Impala LT and LTZ have been issued a recall for a storage bin problem. The problem with the bins is a latch that may not hold the bin shut in a rear crash.

Nearly 2,000 2009-2010 Chevy Aveo and 2009 Pontiac G3 subcompacts have been recalled. The problem with these vehicles is  a brake fluid issue that can lower braking performance and longer brake pad travel time.

Nearly 2,000 Chevy Spark cars have been issued a recall. The issue with the Sparks are loose right or left control arm blots.
